- ChaTech announced the second annual TechX awards, which recognizes regional companies for involvement + accomplishments in the Chattanooga tech community. There are 62 nominees among 35 companies in over 10 categories — winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in August. 🧑💻

- Tennessee ranked No. 3 on Bankrate’s Best States to Retire in 2021 report. The study examined affordability, wellness, culture, weather, and crime to make its rankings for retirees. Among these findings, Tennessee had the highest ranking for affordability.

- Chattanooga Ballet’s fall semester is open for registration. Classes in ballet, pointe, contemporary, and tap are available for ages 3 and up. Chattanooga Ballet has locations in North Chattanooga, Signal Mountain, and East Brainerd. 🩰

- Lookout Mountain’s McLemore Club announced the Experimental Batch music series, which will feature Kentucky bluegrass, Cuban swing, and Jazz styles from a variety of eclectic performers. The series begins July 29 and will be followed by 2 more performances in September.
