🛍️ This might be cheating, but the 46 businesses of Northshore Merchants Collective have tons of deals between them, which you can find on their Facebook page. In fact, make a day of it with their 7th Annual Holiday Window Treasure Hunt, which will take you to over half of the stores, including Blue Skies, Locals Only, I Go Tokyo, Nooga Paws, Clumpies + (Be) Caffeinated.

- The Hamilton County Health Department will continue hosting free COVID-19 vaccination events this week, but will be closed Thurs., Nov. 25 + Fri., Nov. 26. Moderna booster vaccinations will no longer be offered at the CARTA Bus Barn and will resume on Tues., Nov. 30 at the Tennessee Riverpark location. 💉

- Latina Professionals of Chattanooga has officially become a fully-fledged nonprofit organization registered with the state of Tennessee. Founded in 2018, the organization serves local Latina women with several networking events and programs for career development + mentoring.
Cause
- The Salvation Army’s Chattanooga Area Command will provide warm meals for those experiencing homelessness, individuals residing in public housing, and more during its upcoming Fall Festival on Wed., Nov. 24. Salvation Army personnel + volunteers will also prepare and distribute ~500 wrapped meals on Thanksgiving Day. 🍗
- The Chattanooga Area Food Bank received a truckload of ~1,500 Thanksgiving turkeys — nearing 19,500 pounds in total — from Erlanger Health System. This donation will allow the Food Bank to provide families in the community with a holiday meal. 🦃 (The Pulse)

- Chattanooga Football Club is searching for a new men’s head coach after head coach Peter Fuller recently parted ways with the team. Fuller was the associate head coach in 2019 before being promoted to head coach for the 2020 season. ⚽ (NewsChannel 9)

- A new sculpture — “Atlantis Rising” — by Atlanta-based artist Ellex Swavoni was recently installed on UTC’s campus. Measuring 8 feet tall and ~350 pounds, the sculpture is a futuristic, superhero-inspired piece sparking conversations about the power within oneself. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)

- This past weekend, Weaver Tree Farms, located on Signal Mountain Rd., opened its doors to the community. Weaver Tree Farms is celebrating 36 years of providing Christmas trees to Chattanoogans. 🎄 (WRCB)

- November is National Adoption Month. Youth Villages — a national organization committed to supporting the countless youth in the US foster care system — has offices in East Tennessee and serves local youth through foster care + adoption services. In Tennessee, there are ~8,000 children in foster care, on average. (WDEF)
