Local hip-hop recording artist Mak the God recently released a new single, “Po’ Black Girl,” with a music video showcasing locations from Chattanooga, like downtown’s West Village + Coolidge Park.
The song and music video show the daily life of modern-day “Trap Queens” and how the trap queen lifestyle is often over glamorized. The song and video contain explicit content, so watch at your own discretion.
We love seeing our city featured in new local music. (hi, dome building 👋).
