Theatre camp kids, Frasier Crane wannabees, and bandwagon “Hamilton” fans rejoice — theatre is back in Chattanooga. 🎭
The Tivoli Theatre Foundation — which comprises the Tivoli Theatre, Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium, and Walker Theatre — announced its 2021-2022 Broadway lineup starting in October at Memorial Auditorium, and we’re already belting “Seasons of Love” in preparation.

The Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves team was announced as a founding member of the new pre-professional women’s United Soccer League. The new league will begin play in 2022, with 8 founding teams.
The other 7 teams founding the league are Greenville Triumph SC, Hartford Athletic, Kaw Valley SC, Minnesota, South Georgia Tormenta FC, Queensboro FC, Washington, D.C. ⚽

- Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival has been postponed another year due to uncertainties surrounding the pandemic + a full calendar of events. The event — which is Chattanooga's largest festival — will return June 2-5, 2022. (Chattanooga Times Free Press)

- Entrepreneurs can still sign up for the Consumer Goods Accelerator — a free 10-week program to help early stage businesses grow. The program is for entrepreneurs who make products (like pre-packaged food and bev products) + established eateries looking to expand. The deadline to apply is June 16.
Traffic
- Due to rainy weather, TDOT contract crews have rescheduled the work to modify traffic patterns in the Broad Street + Market Street areas near I-24. The work will now take place beginning after 9:00 a.m. on Mon., June 14.

- Tennessee State Parks was named a finalist for the 2021 National Gold Medal Awards for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management. The awards look at successes in state park management over the last several years. (The Pulse)

- Hamilton County Schools' Summer REACH learning program had its first session this week, focusing on reinforcing concepts from the prior school year. The second session, taking place in July, will look ahead at the curriculum for the upcoming year.
- Tennesseans for Student Success announced its sixth annual statewide summer reading scholarship program, Tristar Reads. Students — with parent supervision — are asked to sign up + log the hours they read each week. The winners will receive a $1000 scholarship.

- McKamey Animal Center is celebrating National Foster a Pet Month with national non-profit Petco Love + BOBS from Skechers. In June, the center is recognizing lifesaving foster volunteers in Chattanooga and encouraging more people to foster pets. 🐶
