Hey Chattanooga, Brianna + Trista here. Between the two of us, we get the privilege of sharing the news with 41,493 readers in Chattanooga, daily through our newsletter.
Meet Brianna 👋
Q: Describe your perfect day in Chattanooga in the length of a Tweet (240 characters). A: Getting a vegan breakfast burrito at Market South, going for a hike + swim at Foster Falls or Big Soddy Creek Gulf, grabbing Cashew’s jackfruit bbq nachos for a picnic in Coolidge Park, and meeting friends for live music at a seasonal music series (currently: Nightfall).
Q: What’s something every new Chattanoogan oughta know about? A: The Chattery! It’s the coolest resource for Chattanoogans to learn about practically everything they could ever be curious about (from art + food, to things like the enneagram + repotting plants) without breaking the bank. Plus, it’s founded by 2 rockstar women.
Q: What were the last 3 things you did downtown? A: Last night, I went to trivia (with Trista ❤️) at Cherry Street Tavern — not to brag, but we’re ~kinda~ the reigning champs right now. We’ve also been utilizing the coworking space at Southside’s new social club, Common House, and practically every day that I’m not there I walk to Sleepyhead to grab some coffee + enjoy walking around West Village.
Meet Trista 👋
Q: You’re ordering a drink from a Chattanooga coffee shop: What’s in it? A: In this scenario I’m ordering from Mean Mug because A. I love them, and B. I worked there when I first moved to Nooga. And my go-to-drink is a black cold brew. Bonus points if it’s a Guatemalan brew, which tastes like straight up chocolate.
Q: If you could only write about one Chattanooga-specific topic for the rest of your life, what would it be? A: It’d have to be the architecture of our buildings + adaptive reuse as we grow. That’s why I started the “Designing Chattanooga” series.
Q: If you were taking someone on a tour around Chattanooga, where are the 3 places you’re going? A:

Dad deserves the best. And 40,000 reviews and over 1 million wallets sold say The Ridge Wallet is the perfect gift for him. (The only downside is that you’ll probably want one for yourself.)
THE WRAP
You guys sure are Father’s Day prepared (at least in terms of possible gift ideas). For those of you who aren’t so in-the-know about gifts for dad, check out some answers to our Wrap question from yesterday about monogrammed leather portfolios:
“Southeastern Salvage expanded their monogramming area and even monogram on wood. I am not sure if they have the portfolios, but if you find one elsewhere they can probably monogram it for you” — Cathy L.
“There is a monogramming shop in Riverview Shopping Strip on Dorchester” — Cheryl M.
Did a friend forward this to you? It can be in your inbox tomorrow a.m.
