CO.LAB will pay the early bird application fee ($100 value) for 5 Chattanooga-area startups to apply to SXSW Pitch.
Fill out the following information by Sept. 2, 2022 to be considered.
Additionally, if selected to participate at SXSW Pitch, CO.LAB will provide a $500 stipend to offset travel expenses.
2023 SXSW Pitch will feature 40 Interactive technology companies from eight different categories:
— Artificial Intelligence
— Voice, & Robotics; Enterprise & Smart Data
— Entertainment, Media & Content
— Food, Nutrition, & Health
— Future of Work; Innovative World Technologies
— Metaverse & Web3
— Smart Cities, Transportation & Sustainability
These companies will speak before a live audience with their company pitch and Q&A with our panel of judges.
SXSW will feature 20 companies on Saturday, March 11 and 20 companies on Sunday, March 12.
On Sunday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. there will be a SXSW Pitch Award Ceremony and announce a winner from each category.
Eligibility:
- The company’s product and / or service must have been conceived no earlier than March 21, 2021.
- Each company may only enter one product or service to SXSW Pitch.
- A company that enters more than one product or service will not be eligible to participate in SXSW Pitch.
- Each applicant is only eligible to present in one of the SXSW family of startup innovation events (SXSW Pitch, SXSW Innovation Awards, or SXSW EDU Launch). If you would like to apply for SXSW Pitch and Innovative Awards, please note you will only be eligible to participate in one.
- Founders of the company applying must retain some portion of ownership in the company.
- The Company must not have raised over eight (8) Million Dollars in funding from combined funding sources.
- The product or service must fall into one of the SXSW Pitch categories.

PROTIP: The turnaround to get SXSW application in by Sept. 9 will be quick, so go ahead and have all your info ready to turn in for that application, too. That way, if you're chosen, you will be ready to submit!
