Local artist Alex Loza is currently working on this incredible addition to La Paz’s new building, thanks to a grant from Arts Build + Public Art Chattanooga.
The mural is called “Interweaving/Entrelazando,” and this section shows a grandfather weaving straw baskets, which represents “the link that connects the new generations of Latinos born in the U.S. to our ancestral lands and rich cultures.”
Awesome work, Alex. 👏
